Dentures

Dentures are non-fixed prosthetic devices. They are used as a replacement for missing teeth that can be taken out and back into your mouth. There are two main types of dentures: full and partial. Acoording with your specific needs the dentist will help you to choose the right one for your own case.

Full Denture:

Full dentures are used to replace teeth when all natural teeth have been or will be remove. We offer a large variety of full dentures with porcelain and/or plastic teeth.

Partial Denture:

If you are missing only a few of your teeth we have a partial just for you. Our partials are custom made for each patient's needs and desires. We offer three different kinds of partials:

  • Acrylic: Pink acrylic base with or without wire clasps.

  • Cast metal: Is a strong metal base that contains artificial teeth set in an acrylic resin with metal clasps. Compared to conventional acrylic partial denture, the cast metal denture is stronger, more durable and retentive.

  • Flexi: Can be easily adapt to the constant movement and flexibility in your mouth. Your mouth natural teeth don't need to be altered in anyway and the denture is virtually invisible, because there are no telltale metal clasps or wire to cover the natural teeth. The material what is made of (nylon) blends with the tissue in your mouth so that the only thing that is shown is your beautiful smile.

The Valplast Flexible Partial is an unbreakable, removable partial that many people find very comfortable. These lightweight partials are practically invisible, and completely eliminate the unsightly metal clasps.

In fact, most Valplast Flexible Partials are fabricated without the use of a metal frame - made instead from a strong, durable plastic that snaps securely and comfortably into place around existing natural teeth and gums. The plastic used is so strong that the partial made from it can be very thin, eliminating that heavy, bulky feeling that make wearing partials so unpleasant. Plus, the colour, shape and design of Valplast Flexible Partials blends in well with the natural appearance of the gums, making the partial virtually invisible.

  • Cu-Sil: Is a good option in order to conserve few remaining teeth. It is an acrylic tissue-bearing appliance featuring a soft gasket which clasps the neck of each natural tooth, sealing out food and fluids, cushioning and splinting each natural tooth from the hard denture base.

Flipper:

Is a lightweight removable denture made of acrylic with no wires or clasps, usually is a one or two teeth plate used to fill-in where you are missing a natural tooth/teeth.
